Ilha do Campeche
One of the two most famous tourist points of Floripa, the Ilha do Campeche is called the Brazilian Caribbean. And the title is not all. The crystal clear and calm water reads the same as the Caribbean sea. It is possible to practice mergulho, tan the beach or do trails, divided by level of difficulty, to know the archaeological sites preserved in the area. One more word: it is important to pay attention and book your tour in advance, because the island receives no more than 800 people per day in high season. Then get in touch with the tourism agencies of the region and book your visit!
Hiking Trails
Two of the most famous duas are Trilha da Lagoinha do Leste and Naufragados. At first, go to one of the most preserved beaches of the city, to Lagoinha do Leste, which can be accessed just by walking or by boat. Inclusively, the trajeto is long: by Pântano do Sul, it takes an hour and a half, but by Praia do Matadeiro, it takes about 3 hours. The visual and incredible and the beach is quite preserved, with a wild nature in the middle of the city. Besides, it is also possible to access the Morro da Coroa, with a perfect stone to contemplate in full view and take spectacular photos
Gastronomic Center
One of the highlights is the Via Gastronômica do Ribeirão da Ilha, with several restaurants serving traditional manezinha food and several historical buildings, not in the style of the Azorean immigrants who settled in the city since its foundation. The oysters, especially, are the highlight of the cardápio. This is because the region is one of the main producers of shellfish in the country and from there, it is possible to eat fresh, recently farmed oysters. Also disso, or berbigão (a species similar to shellfish) is also a widely found dish in the area. It is worth experimenting!
Public Market
Heart of the historic center of Florianópolis, or Municipal Public Market of Florianópolis is guaranteed fun. With their boxes selling fresh fish, clothing stores, bars and typical restaurants, they attract intellectuals, locals and artists. On Saturday afternoons, he meets two lovers of samba.
